Craft Weekend continued...at home

and Meg's Chicken Enchiladas,

SO GOOD!!!!!

Then I made the amazing cheesecake  (it's baking right now).  It's for Mother's Day tomorrow.  I will enjoy it.

Can you see how smooth that batter is?

This is totally posed.  No way I was going to wear that beautiful apron while I was cooking.  (I don't want it to get dirty) ;)

Today was the only day this week I did not sew something.  I have been working on repairing this quilt all week, and last night I made 2 more buntings at the request of my children.  Already hanging up in their rooms.

  3. Everything looks so yummy Cathy! I can't wait to make those enchiladas myself! Tonight I made the Pioneer Woman's Penne a la Betsey for my family and they loved it! I will be making the cheesy potatoes and Creme Brulee french toast for breakfast one day this week too. Keep up all the awesome work sewing, the quilt looks great!

  4. Dude! I am so proud of you. You totally rock! I love that you have already been repairing that quilt you bought. See, for me, that would have been stuck in my "need to repair" pile and it would sit there for months. ;-) Great getting to know you. Hope to keep in touch. Wish I lived closer to you so I could come eat all those delicious meals you are cooking.

    1. Oh Maggie, we are going to keep in touch! Working on that quilt is actually pretty fun. I like figuring out which fabric colors to use. One particular pink color though is quiet "LOUD." My daughter chose it and I could not persuade her to choose something different. So loud pink it is!
