Doe Orchards, Harvard, MA

Saturday after soccer (in the rain), we went out to our yearly apple picking place in Harvard, MA.

Pros, can't you tell?  This place is awesome because it is rarely crowded.

September sports

Olivia started soccer.  She plays for the Green Monsters.

Peter is one of the 3 coaches.  They won their first game 4-1 in a down-pour.

Joseph is LOVING golf.

Olivia just started her 5th year of dance last Friday at a different dance school.  She was a little weary about that.

First Day of School 2012

It's official.  Today is the first day of school.  Third and First Grade.  New teachers.  New kids in their classes.  It's going to be a great year.

 Yesterday we went to Open House.  The kids found their new classrooms.  They met their teachers, and said hi to some new and old friends.  

Olivia has a locker!  No photo because my camera was acting up. No good photo of her classroom either!

Joseph's classroom is in the nicest old building.  It reminds me of my elementary school, only it's older.  

Humarock Beach, Scituate

We've been to the beach a bunch of times this summer, but yesterday we tried a "new to us" beach with some friends.  

It was spectacular!  Made better because lots of neighboring towns have already returned to school, keeping the crowds away.
